OUR HISTORY
The firm traces its history back to 1975, when it was founded in Istanbul by Nuri Sadık. The Firm has been providing high-quality legal services to its clients primarily in the fields of corporate and business law as well as dispute resolution for over 40 years. The Firm’s clients include banks and companies operating in a wealth of sectors such as logistics, construction, food and beverage, textile and automotive.

In early 2020, Serra Sadık HızıroÄŸlu, joined the Firm as a managing partner having career of close to two decades at leading banks and prestigious law firms in Istanbul, particularly relating to finance, capital markets and corporate law. Serra combined her expertise and know-how with the The Firm’s long-standing presence and expanded the Firm’s capabilities to a further level, and the firm has evolved into a boutique law firm providing legal assistance to businesses and individuals in virtually all areas of finance and capital market law.

Nazlı Tönük Çapan joined the Firm as a managing partner in early 2023 and she brought into the Firm her significant experience, particularly in capital markets transactions acting for issuers, underwriters and lead managers in cross-border and domestic debt and equity offerings (DCM and ECM deals) involving Reg S/144A issuances gained at top-tier law firms both in Istanbul and London along with her exceptional knowledge in Islamic finance gained at an international bank’s Dubai office.

Upon participation of new managing partners, the Firm is now named as Sadık & Çapan and it continues to grow and expand since its establishment, and we are well prepared to provide the legal services our clients need while embracing the core values we stand for.
